Nice edit, I saw your original message. My cheapest Chinese crap as you so put it was a mere curiosity. As is the nature of my question. ESP the "white noise" thing.
Second of all I bought this cheap crap simply because of the fact it was cheap, and it's doing quite well thank you.
Another point being is that ill ask whatever question I see fit, got it? Lazy? Whoooo that'a a rich one. How dare you call someone you don't even know lazy. How about doing something worthwhile and actually answer the questions in reference instead of going on some non-productive, worthless rant? Hmmmm? Vent elsewhere, on my threads stay productive.

Actually, it WAS a nice edit. And, in point of fact, I DECIDED (prior to any response to that post, BTW) to edit because I reconsidered my original tone and DECIDED to cut you a little slack here. The fact is that you are asking an asinine question about a super-cheap laser that is produced by the tens of millions, with no real standardization, and absolutely NO documentation.

I have no problem with you buying cheap lasers, as I and MANY members here do. BUT if you don't know what you're doing, AND buy a cheapie laser, AND ask dumb questions about how to use it, WITHOUT asking the vendor, AND WITHOUT trying a simple search FIRST.....THEN, my slow-witted pal, you will get EXACTLY what I originally posted.

FYI: 1) Posting DUMB questions without applying a simple search first IS LAZY.

2) I DID answer your DUMB question, with an actual process by which you could solve your issue by applying a simple test.

3) My original post was MILD by comparison with what you could expect from some other members, and was far from being a "worthless rant", as it violated NO forum rules, and quite directly expressed the sentiments shared by many members regarding noobs asking LAZY questions.

4) Your "directive" to "stay productive" on YOUR THREAD is a fine example of epic hypocrisy, given the haphazard manner in which you expect others to solve simple problems for you, as though they have nothing better to do than spoon-feed you information that is ALREADY AVAILABLE on this venue.

Again...I DID answer your question (productively). Your question WAS DUMB and wasteful. I NEVER expressed any issue with your purchase, but rather with your naive expectation that someone here would walk you through the process of correctly installing the batteries. AND FINALLY....it's only AFTER I reconsidered, and posted a workable solution for you, that you decided to call me out.

Some advice for you....... Learn how to read and COMPREHEND what someone else writes, and keep your own assumptions out of it. NEVER mistake charity for weakness. And NEVER start a flame war with someone who just offered you help. Most times, you will sorely regret any of those.

STILL wanna go at it???? Your choice.....

You want to be spoon-fed?....go elsewhere.

Have a wonderful day.
