Dx200 Can it do this?

Ok as most people know I have a dx200 and tonight since I am waiting on my alpha 125 to arrive I went outside and did a laser show at the camp fire. was cool but then we had some fireworks.... it light the green waterproof fuses 2 of them on nimh batteries from about 5 inches away....I thought lasers under 200mw weren’t suppose to light that type of stuff..... I am problem wrong or is it possible that I actually have a 200mw laser?

Well my diy red which is about 160mw (i think) from being fed 250ma can light those green waterproof fireworks from 4ft away in about 20 sec ;D

People have tested the dx200 and it is definantly not 200 if your lucky it might be 140

200mW + can light them from 2 feet
100mW + can light them at point blank

Yay so i atleast have a 100+mw green laser for 120$.... wow thats not to bad... any body want to buy it : ) have to get some money after buying my alpha 125 witch still hasnt shipped... gues i should have goten the tnt shipping : (

me_to_lazy are you sure that is right i know my diy is not putting out more than 200mw and it lights them from 4 ft, or is it because im using the aixis to focus it to a small dot on the firework?

i am guessing the ability to focus the dot..... becaus then you would have 160mw on a 1.5mm area instead of a 2.0mm area with the 200mw

im sure you can light them from much farther if you focus it with a magnifying glass or what not

true... plus a red laser lighting a green fuse would be better than a green lasers lighting a green fuse becaus of the colors
