well, you get what you pay for,, but it should have still lasted longer... did u at least get to dip it in the water?

I got the battery in the end and a flick of green, not a flicker, but a flick, then nothing (front was off as lens is not ar coated). I didn't even get the chance to drool wetness onto it while it was alive, let alone put it in a bucket with water, mirrors and lemon juice.

I may go for http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.7886 as a replacement if it's waterproof.

Why lemon juice? As acidity test or is lemon juice some kinda dye that will turn a green beam into a blue/yellow/white/octarine beam?

Well.. it says "Fixed focus,continuous output and working time over 8,000 hrs."

That should main they should replace it if it fails within the first year, even ran continously with only breaks for swapping batteries

The juice was to make the water cloudy for better beam visibility.

If there is its full of WL and DX lasers!

How many posts of failed DX lasers does it take for people to realize that even at the low price all your going to eventually have is a host for a group buy diode and a DDL Power Supply!?

yeah but some people have had good DX lasers, it's just that they are all so different and poorly made no one model is the same in any way, except for they are green

DX TRUE green laser pointer vs DX green laser pointer.
I expected a Newwish brand, I complained and here is the responce
