That 50mW black/aluminum pointer from FocalPrice looks pretty sweet. I just read the review a few minutes ago. Might pick one up myself.

I can surely wait.

Edit: Oh, I was so confident to get the DX focusable laser. But if this one is good, the 100mw one that is very similar to it might be good too.
But I don't know. I'm tempted to go with the DX one or the FocalPrice 100mw one. But.. I don't know !
I don't have any review of them !

OBS: Focalprice 100mw nonfocusable = $20
DX 50mw focusable = $33

Gabriel, I trust DX more than I trust FP. If you want a reliable laser you could go with this one: DealExtreme: $21.33 L-030 30mW Mini Flashlight Style Green Laser (CR123A)

I know it's 30mW but some do over that power (I've ordered batches of 20 to resell here in Argentina, 7 were underpowered, 8 were much brighter than the 30mW Newwish (True Pen) I own). Maybe you should start with that power and then move on to 100-150mW (o-like has great modules).

If not, you can also try Rayfoss--home and see if one of their lasers is of your interest.

EDIT: As you can see, I'm from Argentina thus I have some experience with latin shipping times. DX orders take from 3 weeks to 90 days (max. I had to wait = 93 days). Same should be with FP. The only order I had from O-Like took only 10 business days. So you might want to consider that.

im getting that 50mw off focal price right next to the one you showed i know its a pos im just getting it cause it runs off AAs instead of AAAs or those other special expensive batteries.

although cr2, cr123, and 18650 batterie's are inconvenient and hard to find, they have a greater performance then AAA's or AA's.

Siqueirah: Look up "Sanyo Eneloops". They are 1.5V rechargables that work longer than alkalines.
