I assume it's eye-safe, right? (obviously I don't plan pointing ins someone's eye, by safe I mean I don't need to use safety googles when I use it inside home), I know it's theoretically over 5mW (which at least by what I read is the eye-safe limit), its a little brighter than my WL CORE, that's why I'm asking.

no you dont NEED goggles for that.. do not look at the dot close up tho.. other than that it SHOULD be fine. That being said...

ALWAYS USE SAFETY GLASSES ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Sure, I won't look at the dot close up, it's too bright :p The CORE is the only thing that doesn't hurt if I look, and even then I don't usually do.

You don't need goggles for a dx True 10mw. Just don't stare at the dot on really close objects and you should be fine.

Yep technically you need goggles like you said yourself. But, unless you shine it directly in your eye or get a really bad reflection you should be OK. I wouldn't worry about looking at the dot at a non-reflective surface, a 10mW dot is not THAT bright.
