i buyed i true 30mW laser from dealextreme, its nice but i wanted to potmod it, so i opened it carefully, modded it, and buy closing the laser ive broken the power switch




so did someone know an alternative point to solder another switch ? or have a scheme ?

Sorry to hear that man.
I didn't even have to pot mod anything on mine and the button broke as well. I am showing pictures simmilar to yours.

It just shows that the DX quality is quite questionable.
Plus their lasers never have any IR filters. Gotta thing twice with next orders.

If you still have the button and the button is not damaged, you should be able to solder it back on.

If the button IS broken, you MAY be able to find another at a seller like radioshack. (radioshack.com)

It's not like you damaged the diode, so it's pretty fixable.

You might damage the diode by switching it on, after all you did pot mod it .

@ Mega, IR filters are not necessary for 30mW green lasers, it's when your in the 100mW+ ranges you want one.
