Will the WL dragon case fit my nova x series? If not, then can anyone recommend a good case for the laser?

well, my WL core shakes in its dragon case, its sorta how they are designed. Think of a cigar tube (another option btw) with a fancy design when you think of a dragon case. But the case does have felt on the inside so the shakiness isn't a big deal. The laser isn't REAL loose but don't expect a snug fit...

Strange my Nova X series won't fit the dragon cases, it sticks out the top just enough that you can't put the cap on.

At the "bottom" of the case is a styrofoam pad. It may be too tall for your laser. It is a pain in the ass to get it out of there, but it can be done. Then you can replace it with a smaller piece of open cell foam that will collapse more.

Peace,

Yea I did see the white foam at the bottom of the tube and didn't try and remove it though, probably is a pain.

I use these instead though;

Only cost a buck each, and you can adjust them so it doesn't move/rattle around; very sturdy and thick plastic too.

Dang - I wish I would have scrolled to the bottom of this thread...I just sent an email to the owner, asking about the ID :p (DOH !) I have seen those before (somewhere) and they look really nice and sturdy - if you have a Kryton, can you see if it would fit ? I don't have one handy to measure it....

Yes they are *very* sturdy and durable, I've had them for about a year now, I bought a dozen of them. They are really hand for many items, I even have the fat adjustable DX200 Red lasers in one, and it fits very nicely. Sorry I don't have a kryton, but if you can tell me the exact size, I can measure it with a caliper if you need me to.
