Wow..

Very nice pix.. i was wondering what my nova looked like in pieces but never had the balls to try to take it apart. i have a bad habit of breaking things when i do, so i usually wait until its already broken to do it. I'm glad you posted this

You are right about what you said. It is good to see what's waiting for you if you try to dismantle it before you do :)

Also, at allows for lateral and yaw-type (X,Y) movements of the mirror, which can allow for more precise tuning and higher output if the alignment is done correctly..

Does it mean that pointers with OC mirrors, have coatings both on cyrstals and OC mirror piece so you can adjust the cavity by moving the OC mirror.

Here it shows the coatings;

808/1032/532nm leak at apperture, you should know.

The original picture only shows the "working" beams, not the stray beams that don't contribute any more to the lasing process.

I think you mean 1064 :)
And it is strange that 1064 passes through OC mirros even it is HR 1064 coated!
The diagram shows it doesn't so why we need IR filter? :) If it does why the diagram doesn't show it? :-?
