I was trying to wipe off some dust on my DL95 with a q-tip damp with alcohol. After I did that, it seemed to get worse, then I used glasses lens cleaners to wipe it but it didn't fix the problem. Now there's like a huge green circle of dust around my green dot now! I didn't damage the lens did i?

looks like you have a fair bit of junk on your lens! i doubt you would have scrathed it, so just keep trying to clean it. if you are talking about the "scatter" around the dot, that is normal and is present on many other lasers.

Everything you need to know about the Lenspen can be found in the link below.  It is stickied in the Companies and Reviews forum.

Your laser will enjoy the "gold star" treatment from the Lenspen. ;)

The same thing happened to my CNI. I let it dry overnight and I wiped it with a dry Q-tip and it was fine. Or you could do the better way of using a lenspen (wish I had one)

I read alcohol messes the anti-reflective coating of the lens I hope you didn't mess anything :\

Same deal happened with my DL 125.. I cleaned it then realized condensation was on the inside of the lens. I took the batteries out and let it sit for a few days and its fine

Should I leave the cap off too?

Also, lately I feel like my laser is heating up faster than it did before, like it would get warm after like 10 second use. Is there anything in the laser that helps it cool down? Or maybe it's just because it's been pretty hot these days (over 90 F). One more question, would a dirty lens affect the power? because it hasn't been able to light matches as well.

There are 2 options that you could try. I suggest the LensPen or using a coffee filter. Some some reason coffee filters work very nicely for cleaning lenses ;)
