I am sorry if this has already been asked, but I searched and couldn't find. On another green laser thread, people were talking about p1 and p2, and seemed p2 was something of more quality.
What do these terms actually mean?
Thanks in advance.

I have no idea myself. Perhaps you could link to the other thread so we can see the context?

It would appear to be the designation of each laser, kind of like a model name. It's definitely not a technical term.

If you look at their website you will find that lasers are labeled like this "50mw 532nm Green Beam Laser Pointer Pen Stylish P1"

I remember reading about these, they are different versions of a laser, v1, v2, and v3.

Here's one quote from the thread:

...
I am a bit dissatisfied that they sent me P1 versions when ordering P2. This is however addressed with them for a solution. Their P1 versions feel kind of "cheap" where the P2's are steady and fine.

It seems like the P2 is better but whenever anybody ordered one they recieved the P1. Same thing happened whenever anybody ordered the P3. The P2's and P3's are out of stock supposedly because the manufacturer needs a big order. Most of the lasers turned out to be junk though.
