Well the only differences between 18650 and 26650 should be the size, capacity, and the more current the 26650 could supply, otherwise it is just another one of them 3.7V Lithium Ion Batteries :)

I wish I knew enough about lasers to know if that would be enough to power a 1300mW, but right now I'm like a kid who's trying to explain since a truck has a bigger gas tank than a car it can pull more weight. I think it's what's under the hood that probably matters - but bigger tanks probably can't hurt.

It comes down to current sourcing ability. In general, larger batteries can supply more current. So an 26650 is probably 'adequate' as far as current output and capacity. But it still in no way proves the laser can get anywhere near 1.3W of 532nm.

At least the 26650 shows that its not just another overrated 50mW unit. It is definitely a host that I have never seen. If it was 18650 or better yet 16340 then its easy to dismiss but the 26650 begs the question: Why use such an uncommon battery unless you need the extra current draw for a big 808 pump? Still doesnt mean its up to spec but its curious at least.

^ well, indicatively ..... consider a 6W CW 808nm diode enough for get around 1300mW of green from a decent cavity ..... it will probably require around 7A, and the 26650 batteries are normally rated for 3400mAh (some of them report a 3900mAh mark, but is probably a bit unrealistic) ..... this means they can easily hold 7A discharge current, for something like 25 minutes max, if fully charged ..... so, yes, they can power a 1300mW green, they just will become very hot in the working cycle.

EDIT: this, ofcourse, IF the unit is a real 1300mW at 532nm one, without IR leakage :p

For buying a powerful laser dhgate.com is the best, where you have the world's most powerful lasers

Seriously I think is the worst of the worst I've ever seen never, advertisers in this site are the most unashamed I've ever seen.

Look at the 2 examples and laugh a little, one laser of 6000mW and other of 8000mW

6000mW 532nm High-power green adjustable star burn matchpop ...USD 312.00/Piece Wholesale Price at DHgate.com

8000MW Ruipian Discrete Crystals Green AIG300 silver gray...USD 499.20/Piece Wholesale Price at DHgate.com

I know that one couldn't really tell the output from a pic or a video but that didn't look near the stated output.

I know that many cheap chinese sites as DH Gate, Taobao, Focalprice, Dealextreme... claim unrealistic high outputs 1000mW, 2000mW... 10000mW (Taobao). But Dinodirect normally doesn´t do this.

So, it is a joke? Price seems right for that output.

I wouldn't buy this laser!
If there would be a new generation of 532nm laser then for sure not at DinoDirect :D
Does they have any 589nm laser or other exotic wavelengths? (So why should they have the newest shit around? :p)

only my 2 cents ;)

You guys please be patient!
Do you know why we don't make pics and videos as you expect? BECAUSE not all colleagues, especially photographers not so good and professional as you are by photographing lasers. Nice and amazing pics always in LPF!!!!~ lol
BUT I have told them to make some change!!!~

taking photo of a laser and a LPM is not that hard at all :D:D you can even do it with a decent phone camera ... :D:D or your photographers are THAT bad :D:D

Why guys always have to be patient?..

Do you know why we don't make pics and videos as you expect?
Yes!

BECAUSE not all colleagues, especially photographers not so good and professional as you are by photographing lasers.
No!? --> BS!?
Why don't you ask the guy who took your picture to photograph the Laser? It looks very professional btw. :worthy:

Nice and amazing pics always in LPF!!!!~ lol
For sure! :)

BUT I have told them to make some change!!!~
We'll see...i doubt there will be pictures available in the near future which proofes the output power of your 1300mW 532nm Laser.
Hopefuly i am wrong with this! ;)
