I was wondering if you guys could tell me how well of a laser pointer this is for the price, i for sure wanted a green one. I am Somewhat new to laser pointers so i know this forum will be extremely useful as it has already. http://www.rayfoss.com/productn.asp?ArticleID=76
Thats the link, it has LED lights in it as well which is very useful if my power where to run out or i need quick light. But as i see it any help would be appreciated. :anyone: :gh:

The laser doesn't look bad, but I don't like the fact that it uses 3 AAA batteries, since the capacity of the AAA is not so great. Anyhow there are other web sites you can check out that have starters laser pointers. Wallbuys.com is one of them.

If you had asked for advice before buying that would have been better than after it is too late. While not the worst place to buy there are better- Rayfoss does not have a 100% positive rep here- IF you REALLY want good advice I highly suggest that you finish filling out your profile if your location is not below your user name in every post/thread we have no idea where you are and that makes a HUGE difference.

Also please go and read a bunch of threads at the 'Welcome' section-we like it very much if you introduce yourself to this forum before asking for help- You may have a great member living near and never meet them if you keep your location a 'secret' lol

Aside from you location we also need your date of birth-- we like to hear about your other interests, hobbies - profession or what you are studying at school ETC-- read the stickies- in every section - Try to not place two threads about the same topic- double posting is also frowned upon- use 'edit' and add anything new to you last post.
READ before you ask- there are reviews here akready on Rayfoss-- best deals are often from forum members-- and check out the GB section before making any buys..
hope this is helpful-- if so please consider making a small donation to help keep LPF running-- there is a section just for donation info.

if you are unsure about my advice feel free to PM me-- have a nice weekend Hak

ps
occasionally a new member will be 'less than honest' about their true age-- and that can get you banned-- that you do not want to happen.

Yeah, we are all gonna find out exactly who you are, hunt you down and gang rape you because you put your country or state, your DOB and a few of your hobbies in your profile.

I understand your reluctance in sharing too much personal information. You must remember this is an international forum and having at least the country in which you reside can help members provide the best information on companies / users that are geographical similar to your own. No one really needs much more then that unless you are buying something from them.

Yep. If they don't try to fit in, they are not worth it.

Usually when I join a forum I don't bother with the welcome thread or filling in info. I have to decide first if I want to invest myself in the forum in the first place. So I won't waste my time, as well as the people of the forums, going through the motions of salutations and introductions if I'm just going to disappear in short order. It's nothing personal towards the community of that particular forum; it just saves everyone the trouble.

See you understand, if the community is worth staying admist then i don't mind filling in the information, but the fact is i came in for a question and its turned into a soap opera. I have nothing against ya'll I just wanted advice.
