Hey folks, I got the inferno driver off eBay set it at 350mAh, on a 3.7v 18650, I hooked up a 300-500mW 635nm open canister diode, it was working ok and went really dim ! did I kill the diode or is the driver playin wif me?

Did you do the normal protocol........... Like replacing the battery,etc.
Is your battery a protected one?

It happened while I was testing it. So I had the diode inside copper module which was placed on my big chunky heatsink, and then I connected the driver wore to the 18650, after a few seconds it went dim! (5seconds or so).
I will upload an image of my setup when I get home.

Did you use a Laser Diode Test load before connecting
your LD or did you use your LD as the Test Load...:thinking:
