Can anyone tell me if Deal Extreme and the 200mw green laser pen sold on www.focal price.com are the same laser pen they look the same. I live in the USA so I can not buy from Deal Extreme but can order from focal price....I read where the 200mw from focal price is really around 130mw but only cost under 69 dollars so thats not to bad a price. If you can be of help please respond back.

I don't think they are the same, but they are very similar.. And both perform terribly. The power will be very inconsistent, changing every 3-4 seconds and it will work badly if just slightly under or about 10 degrees C above room temperature. It s normal for greenies to be affected by temperature, but not as much as that.. and I have heard from 2 people who couldn't even pop a balloon with a DX 200. All my 50mW greenies can do that.. A True 50mW from DX better than a "200"mW!! I would direct you to likeitbright for good greenies.. expensive compared to DX or focal but the price you have to pay if you want a really really good laser. In the long run it is cheaper, as you will not have to buy a new crappy laser every month.

Really forget about 200mW of green power at that price. 50mW of green or 200mW of red are the only stable options at low prices
