im a glass artist and i wanted to light one of my sandblasted pieces with a laser but i want to make sure it isnt dangerous to look at first. I have a 5mw 532nm green laser and when pointed at a sandblasted glass object completely illuminates the entire thing with intense green light. the grainy surface bounces the light around to give the illusion its almost moving, but since it will be part of a sculpture that is meant to be looked at i want to make sure it wont damage anyones eyesight. is the laser light diffused enough by the frosted surface that it isnt dangerous? there is no direct beam coming from the piece but the glass itself looks extremely bright, can anybody tell me with any certainty whether or not its safe to look at?
