last time, i connected my cheap ebay laser to my powersupply and i found out, that they can stand much more that 3V:

so i did some workaround with a classic altoids box and this is what came out:
as a powersupply i use a standard 18650 li-ion battery and i simply used the whole module from the cheap pointer, so i didn't have to do a lot, just look, that it fits into the box
since this was my first project, it doens't look very nice, but it works
