So last night i was going through some of my parts and i had an idea for a build. so i have some 2xC/25500 host's laying around as well as a 532nm module i got from fasttech. so i said why not put them together. so that just what i did. the results are pretty good. it came out pretty nice i think. the only problem is it doesn't seam to put out as much power as when it was unsinked and running off a single 16340 when i originally tested it, and this could be because of the massive heatsink or the fact it's running off 2 C battery's. so I'm going to try some AA's and maybe an 18650 and a spacer and see if the battery's are keeping the power lower then i originally see, or if its the heatsink working a little to well. but either way here it is.

O man I'm sorry I completely forgot. Just after we talked my girlfriends grandfather passed away then the next day my uncle so that had us busy pretty much all last week. Then I got that ARGLPM and was doing some extensive testing and review and completely forgot to check on that. I'll check today after I drop my kids off at my mothers and get back with you about that. I've sorry about that. I've still got the blue and silver and I've got a heatsink I can fit in a black if you would like but just have to polish the face of it still.

Nice build. Did you paint the cap ? It looks paint instead of anodizing :)

I simply love the DIY greens, They give you a satisfaction of having something better than cheap pens and way better overall build since the battery can be chosen from, I choose 18650 because, Yes, the module is out of the prisons made of primary 1.5V's!

P.S: How much was the shipping time to the US , I ordered some stuff 3 days ago from fasttech, So i suppose it would be about the same , give or take a couple of days!

yeah i did paint the cap. it's plastic so it was kind of a pain but it came out pretty good. it looks alot better in person and i should have wiped it down a bit because you can see the finger print smudges on the clear coat.

any yeah DIY greens are nice and with those Fasttech modules you can use any 12mm heatsink which there are many of them out their.

Updated the OP with the New fully functional focus adapter thats right. what ended up happening was there must have been a little bit of dust or something on the original lens so i tried to get it with compressed air which i couldn't so then i tried a microfiber cloth and no luck so last i tried a little 90% iso alcohol, and the alcohol recked the lens. so i know i had to come up with something. so what i did was took a bare brass module i had laying around and after unscrewing the lens section on the 532nm module revealed a plastic lens which just so happens to fit perfectly inside the hole for the 5.6mm diode. so i took a 405nm glass lens and placed it in the module backward to the normal way and added a focus adapter and bam!! a fully function focusing 532nm laser.

And i seen an increase in power as well.
