Currently it's an X-Boost set to 180mA and a 3 element 405 lens. Plan to upgrade to a G2.
I also do not mind, the thing about the wider beam is that it's not that condensed, so the color isn't obvious. When it's focused, you see it VERY well, but when it's a wide beam it just looks like a normal green. My camera pics it up more than my eyes, I see the difference on my phone, but not much in person.
