Good day to all,

I was just wondering if any of you guys ever experienced contacting/e-mailing lazerer.com and received a very late reply? It's been 2 days since my last e-mail to max (lazerer.com) and still no reply. I wanted to buy one 200mW 532nm green laser pointer but most of them are out of stock except the "mini" version which I don't like. Last email from max was that there is one model in stock but it didn't show in their website. so my last reply to him was "how can i purchase it when its not available in their website". I hope I'll hear from him soon so that I can purchase one before New year cause I'd want to have a lightshow in the sky (and use it in astronomy) rather than playing with fireworks.

Thanks,

John

Even if we answers regarding our past experiences with their response time, would it change anything for you? Stories of our responses won't speed up their response to you.

You should just email them again, and if they don't respond, assume that they're too busy/sold out and go find some other vendor and buy from them. I don't even think Lazerer would get the laser to you by the end of the year anyway. Just buy one of those lasers on Amazon.

Yeah^ ive waited weeks to hear a response, max specifically stated to me,
Hi Kartracer00,

Yes our store is flooding with order right now so please forgive my late reply. It take so much time for us to even only reply to our email. If we have to answer all question on the forum. There will be to much for us to handle.

Just let me know your new address when you moved to your new location and will will send the part right away. You better contact us on our email in order to get a faster respond. Have a nice day.
This was on 12/03/2012 BTW
So yeah, you may have missed him for the rest of the year...CHeck those Chinese holidays!

I could see how they would be totally swamped with emails right now. Around christmas its pretty normal for delays in things like that due to sheer volume.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry for writing "ever" I just meant "recently".
And yes, maybe it would just help me understand and confirm that they are really busy right now or on a holiday.

I did email them again but still no response. I searched for other vendors but they are more expensive and not that reputable/trusted than the lazerer (according to my research). And also I was looking for a 200mW 532nm laser because it fits my purpose (IMO). My budget is just $180, can you recommend me another vendor besides lazerer?

Thanks again.

This is another website I would suggest. They have a good rep and I personally own one of their lasers so I can attest to their quality. They have a full size 532nm 200mW for $141 or a 300mW for $188 or a pen 150mW for $75. I would suggest the full size if you plan to use it more since they tend to be more rugged and have better duty cycles.

HL 532nm 50-300

Laserbtb was my second option, But my paypal is not yet verified, I emailed them if I can pay them thru Western Union, I'm still waiting for their reply. Thank you, I think I'm gonna go with this. :)

I am not sure they care if your PayPal is verified. You could ask that if they don't want to do western union.

I think you need to verify your paypal account before you can purchasing online.

Allen Wu of skylaser/laserbtb already replied to me. He sent me the reciever's information for Western Union transaction. :) I'll be sending the money later

I used my PayPal for months after just making an account and adding a debit card and that was it. Only after my transactions started frequently climbing into the several hundred dollar range was I asked to verify.

Ya...Max was extremely busy and was kinda not really bother.
I guess something must be bothering him.
I had been annoying him this few days and did ask him about Western Union account so I may send him the $. I did order the same mini. No other obvious choice since the Sticks was way too long that looks darn ugly.
Well, if Max still not replying me this week.
I might order from either Skylazer or Olike. What about Rayfoss? ......What a headache to choose with tight budget....

Skylasers(laserBTB) has a great rep as well as Rayfoss but o-like not so much. They are too hit and miss for my liking.

He is likely swamped with emails right now so allow for more than usual time for replys. Max is reliable to I am sure it will work out. Also, it takes more than 12 days for the shipping so expect to wait as much as another 2 weeks, maybe more depending on how slow the post wants to be.

Hmm, that's longer than I would have expected from DHL. I would give Max another day and send another email from a different email address in case a spam filter ate your other email.
