5mW 520nm Green Portable Laser Pointer Point Pen Laser Diode Pointer Osram LD in | eBay

That one. Don't worry guys, I won't get mine on day one. My postal worker NEVER delivers packages. Just pink we missed you slips.
Thanks CynicalB, ok "pos" towards tail as Curtis was right;)
So we got another valid tracking from Wizard:) which makes me wonder if your postman even brings your packages with him. They only leave pink slips when the item won't fit in my box. I can't see this pointer in anything bigger than a bubble pack..

Mine doesn't take packages on the truck at all. My Hyperion meter was supposed to have been delivered with me at home waiting and they just dropped the pink slip. The package would have very easily have fit in any standard mail box.
I had this issue at my previous address as well to the point we complained to the local postmaster and they assigned a new driver to our route.
Nothing like paying for 2-day priority and having to go pick it up when you were waiting at the mailbox. At that address we had a 1 foot cubed mailbox for packages even. Only ones they ever delivered were from DTR.

On that same note, my 638nm spartan was simply left in front of the door by fedex so I will be requesting a day off from work to intercept my 589. Or at least to go in for a half shift that day to be home at the time our carriers run.

Also out of curiosity, what are the first two digits of everyone's tracking numbers?
Mine are LT and it will not pull any tracking info like that but if i change it to LL it will but not sure if it is the correct tracking info.

Mine starts LT...
I think I remember you posting about the Hyperion issue:undecided:
Ever since I joined this forum iv'e managed to irate a few PO workers with so many packages in such a short time that they actually tore a hole in one box to see what I was up to. It was a box from Lifetime and I could see the tip of the build and the blue dyed double focus knob sticking out:tsk:
Whether it was right or not of them to do, I don't want to mess with the PO as they can really make you life miserable.
Having to lose work to intercept mail don't know what to say but being a 589 i'm sure I would too!
My box is maby 6"x6" so not even small priority fits and my mail always come after 6:00 so I just wait to pickup lately, but you got me thinking now if they even bring them now..
Well it figures we are getting blasted with maby 2 feet of snow today, so i'm expecting a changed delivery date even though mine made it to MA this morning..
Hope yours registers soon:cryyy:

Now I really want to have my friend an hour away flat rate mail me a few small flat rate boxes of lead..
I could even drive the lead to him and fill the boxes xD
JUST to piss off the PO worker if they leave another pink slip on a package that would have easily fit.
Have to figure out how much lead I can fit in one of those small flat rate boxes for when they leave that slip on either laser.

So who can figure how much a 9"x 5"x 1 1/2" volume in lead would weigh?

27.675 pounds, or 12.55 kg. (9 x 5 x 1.5 = 67.5) x .41lbs per cubic inch.

GSS, I hope you don't end up getting all that snow!

Thx Bow:) Almost 30 pounds in that pretty tiny package..I would think the hardest part on top of its weight would be trying to get your fingers under it to get to pick it up:D
About 20 minutes ago I thought we might just luck out as it was windy rain but its starting to get white. Yup they are saying way way over 12"+:(
How much would all that lead cost?

Bye the way, it was tracked to the PO right before mine early this morning so without the weather we are due, it would most likely come tomorrow.
I'm thinking others will get theirs possibly tomorrow also....

Mine should be delivered on Saturday... but it's to my college address and I'm home this weekend. So Monday evening, you'll get my feedback on it!

I already have the lead xD my roommate is into scuba diving and has about 80lbs of the stuff in various sized blocks for his dive belt. On top of that I have access to about 300 or so more pounds if need be.

Here's to hoping I go home today to a laser in the mailbox and not a pink slip.

I ordered one of these myself just to see the overall quality (I mean who can say no to $23 shipped for a direct diode green?), and it arrived today. So far I'm pretty impressed with the overall quality and value. I might post a little review with a LPM reading later. This laser gets a thumbs up from me so far. It visibly appears to be around 10-15mw, with the beam visible in a dim room.

Nice, glad you got it:) for $23 it sure looks like a way decent deal and also curious of the host heft.
I believe mine is due today and does mention small package type in the tracking, so I can't see a pink slip in the box..

Curtis, how's your shipping progress going?:)

Good things to come for us then I hope GSS. 10-15mW sounds alright to me. I hope yours turns up. Mine left Beijing two days ago. Should be in the UK now I guess. :)

Just a quick update. Mine is now officially in the UK. Shouldn't be too much longer now. Probably a couple of working days max. :)

It has started to snow though. The uk doesn't deal with snow. Make that three working days if it settles. :D

Mine has arrived. I'll post a review this weekend. I'll have to wait until Monday to LPM it as I need to grab some RCR123 batteries. Looks like a nice host though.
