I have 40 dollars to spend my friends, help would be appreciated! I have two lasers picked out. I want one that can light matches, burn through garbage bags, maybe even burn into wood or something. I am a first time laser buyer so if i am looking at the wrong types of lasers please let me know or maybe pick one out for me for 40 dollars or less!! Thanks!

Laser one : 50mW transformable green laser/adjustable/burning [OLV50] - $36.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

Laser two: Power Rock Green laser Torch 50mW /Focusable&Waterproof [OL-MRGL50] - $34.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

Edit: i found another, but this site does not seem to be legit, tell me if this could be true...

The third one is a piece of crap. The other 2 are good.

Your new here welcome to the forums be sure to read the stickies. Also remember that you will need safety goggles for any laser over 5mw especially if you want to burn things. Now onto your question a 50mw green will burn but not very well it will not light a match or burn into wood it may cut a garbage bag slowly though I recommend this it is a bit over your price range but it will actually burn. But remember safety goggles are a must especially when burning. You should also read this it helped me a lot when I first got into lasers. Good luck with your lazing experience and happy burning :eg:

No need to be rude, lol..

I didn't know where this would be located at.
Well considering it was 2 green lasers the green laser section is most appropriate but if you were just asking about general lasers of any color the "General" section is best too late now though try not to do it again :tsk:

would or should? If you don't know post once. No need to make duplicates.

Edit: Sorry for being rude. It's just that most people who post multiple times are spammers doing it intentionally. Sorry for jumping to conclusions. +1 coming your way when the system can, didn't mean to get off on the wrong foot.

Get the ones from lazerer you cannot put a price on your vision you need safety goggles especially when burning. I can sell you the ones I had for my red laser because it recently broke so now I only have a 1mw red laser which you don't need safety goggles for and I do no plan on getting any high power red lasers therefore I no longer need them. I got them off ebay and they worked well I only used them a few times. I do not have an LPM so I cannot test their effectiveness. Here are some pic's :
