I have a 50mW module from DragonLasers that I was originally intending to use for a DIY laser show but thats been set back a few months now.

Its in rather small heatsink, like the one aixiz has on their website for their greens.

Thing is as its not being used for its original intention and its way over spec, lighting a match from 2 meters away I was thinking of focusing it a little better than what it is now. At about 4 meters away the dot is already 1.5cm big.

Do I just turn the bit on the front of the heatsink using the two pin holes either side of the aperature?

You mean from aixiz ??

Yeah just turn them, the 35mW module from DX is similar to this, and thats what I did with mines to improve the collimation, if its got glue on it you might want to break that first, be careful not to scratch the lens.
