Hey, I recently order that laser and a 50mW pen from CNI. I first wanted to buy it through a GB, but it turned out to be cheaper buying it directly from the company (only $803). And they gave me 2 free pairs of goggles!

Once I get them I will write a review, well mostly I will make videos and pictures because there's already a superb review of the 400mW laser on this forum and I got me the new Nikon!
I'll be happy to make videos or photos by your requests. Expect some soon!

Question: How do I have to take care of these lasers, especially of the PGL, what do I have to do once in a while or how long can I have them turned on?

Thanks

Your going to want to get BOTH of them power tested to see if they are up to spec an so forth, the pen should be on for about 60sec MAX before a rest and the PGL should be about 3min on MAC IIRC... There is not really maintnence for them, just change the batts and clean the lens!
ENJOY!

I would NOT suggest you do that.... They sent me 5 defective PGL's before I gave up on them....
Poor Dustin is cursed. The first one was defective, so he sent it back, and on and on, untill..........................:horse:He just had to give up!:yabbem:

I'll have to get that Beam Expander from Laserglow too! Is that their own expander or is it from another company?

As far as I know, the beam expander LaserGlow sells is their exclusive product.
CNI has some also, but they are a pain to attach and remove (you have to remove the aperture shutter).

@Don'tLazeMeBro
Wow... I didn't realize your RPL died also... you really are cursed!
Have you been able to get warranty repair on the RPL? What broke it?

Hearing stories like that makes me feel bad for being fortunate and receiving a laser that averages 250mW above the rated power. :na:
