Basically since CNI laser sells to Dragon lasers and Nova lasers the same laser, the Nova X100 and the Dragon Laser X100 SHOULD be the same exact thing, am I right? Which company would I be better off ordering from?

That is not true. Although the lasers come from the exact same place, Dragonlasers and Novalasers each have their own specifications that the lasers have to meet in order to be sold. For this reason is why people much prefer and recommend Novalasers than Dragonlasers, because Novalasers generally sends out verified, in-spec lasers. There is no certification for Dragonlasers, and some people have found to get slightly underspec lasers from them in the past. Also Novalasers and Laserglow are the same company, further boosting their reputation.

Yes You MIGHT get a dud laser and have to send it back for repairs, you might not. Personally I'm buying from CNI, If I had money I would buy from LG or Optotronics. I believe they design lasers or have their high quality quality control.

I think Dragon Lasers is the same as CNI, Nova and Laserglow have CNI as their manufacturer but some of their lasers are different.

Pretty sure that hercules Laserglow designed.

Just like HTC, they are a HUGE manufacturer of phones, but some of their competitiors actually design phones and have HTC manufacture, easier this way

LMAO no Laserglow. They're I guess run by the same people as Nova lasers.

Sure you don't want to try CNI?

Glenn's past Group buys have been good, people getting 50mw cheap pens that output 100mw.

Just not quite LG or Nova

They are both probably 75mW units from CNI... ordering directly from the manufacturer will get you more bang for your buck

Thanks gus. Ummm yes they have expensive shipping, but if you order in a GROUP BUY, everyone shares shipping bringing the cost of shipping dramatically.

I would order from nova. I don't have experience with DL, but i've NEVER had a single issue with nova. Everything i've ever ordered from them (except for once when I ordered on christmas eve) has been shipped out quickly. All products are way above spec, documented, tested, you can pay for extra testing (graphs), etc. They really work to accommodate your needs.

The x100 I ordered peaks at 150 mw, 50% over spec. Remarkable.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Nova is wonderful and has never given me a reason to use anyone else.
