Hi all! Does anyone know of or have just a 15mW circuit board that would fit a Wicked Lasers Classic for sale? If not just the board then the whole insides? I still have the collimating lens and secondary optics so I really just need the board, but I'll take what I can get! Thanks to any & all repliers Phoenix77

Hey, welcome from LC to LPF. You may need to give more information on if you are driving the 15mW Classic diode still, or just need the board.

Hi, thanks 4 the reply! No, i'm not still driving the diode. I unsoldered the 2 leads fromthe diode leading to the pcb. So now i have in order from the front 1-collimating lens, 2-primary optics/diode with no leads. Can i run a 200mw driver into this & which holes do i solder the 2 leads off the pcb in. + lead where? - lead where? Any help would b appreciated. Thanks, phoenix77

Are you planning to put your own diode in there or do you want to overdrive the 15mW one? Because you just turn up the POT to overpower the 15mW diodes.

you might be able to use the driver from like a dealextreme laser or something

Hi Thanks 4 the reply. Yeah, i'd LIKE 2 overdrive the diode, but don't know how high i can reasonably go! Also, there's a guy who makes pcb's for $5.00/each. I'd like 2 know if i can hook up one of those in the 200 mw. range? Thanks for ur help! Phoenix77

You don't need a new driver to overdrive the diode. You just turn the POT with a screwdriver thats on the original board. It alows much more current to flow to the diode, and overpower it. As soon as you do that you have, essentially, a 100mW-200mW driver. But it can only be overpowered so far before you kill the diode. There is no way you will be able to run it at 200mW.
