i guess you could blindthe sharks but then PETA would destroy you  :gun:

i would defocus it so it only causes temporary glare.

hmm i reckon that could be quite effective
i should sell for a surfing and diving target market

Hi, What is the Difference between Water Resistant and WaterProof?

Can I keep the laser underwater for like an hour?

Andrew,

Water resistant means it can resist some splashes, while waterproof means it's completely able to be submerged underwater. Yes you can keep it there for as long as you want, just beware of condensation.

Babalimje, why do you keep posting with questions you already have answers to? Seems to be a lot of WL promoting in your posts too. Here, and in other threads. This could be seen as spamming you know...

its fairly self explanatory anyway. resistant to water means its unlikely to sustain damage from the water. waterproof doesnt let water in.

Water resistant means it can more or less go into the rain and small spalshes and such... Waterproof means submerged and should always
come with a rating for depth. Welcome to the forum BTW.

Fill a large bowl with uncooked rice, than bury the laser in the rice. The uncooked rice with draw all the moisture out. I would leave it in the rice for a few days. Make sure you remove the batteries also.

Put it in the oven at 150*F for about 6 hours. Your other option is to leave it in the dashboard of a car in summer. I would choose the former. 150 isn't hot enough to cause any damage. I've done it with a 5mw greenie before that took a swim in a lake. Couldn't use the dehydrator because it was in use.
