Im trying to achieve the brightest beam (obviously).

On the info page for the laser its says working voltage: DC 3.7-4.2V, im assuming the higher the voltage the stronger the beam will be...?
and what is mAh?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

3.7-4.2V is the voltage of a single Lithium Ion cell (18650, 16340, 14500,....).
So you will want to use one of those batteries, the one that fits, it should state
on O-likes site which one is the right size. You'll also need a special charger for those
batteries, your standard NiMH or NiCad charger won't work.

mAh means milli ampere hours, and it denotes a batteries capacity.
Say a battery has 1500mAh, that means you can draw 1500mA (1.5A) for one hour
until the battery is drained. Or 750mA for two hours or 500ma for three hours... get it?

Also, if you are planning to stick around and do some reading on this site, you might
wanna check out the INDEX link in my signature as a starting point.

Have fun and be safe!

Your green laser only requires ~3.1 VDC for full power.

The 4.2 VDC of a good lithium cell will give you longer run time before it drops to 3.1 VDC.

A fully charged 3.7V Lithium Ion Battery will read 4.2 Volts on your volt meter - Check it out!

I got a 200mw o-like green laser and it works fine with 18650 3.7 volt batteries that they sell. It actually out puts around 220mw.

Sweet! Is it the transformable? I ordered the "200mW transformable green laser/adjustable" just the other day and now I Just have to wait!

I wonder what it'll put out when I put an IR Filter on it...still high I'm sure...
