If it hists 55+ it would be a good deal. Probably more like 30mW.

Once I get my lpm (if canada post ever gets off it's collective @$$) I'll be buying cheapies to test and play with. I'll add this one to the list, but chances are won't have a review for a pretty long while.

You bought from Tmart and it's shipping from NY? Brooklyn by any chance?

I've long suspected that a lot of these gadget sites are under single ownership/operation, I know for a fact gadgettown also ships a lot of stuff from NY.

The company is located in china or HK. They just have a warehouse in NY, UK, and another country. Some of their items are in them and luckily mine is. So fast shipping :)

No, I get that, it would just be interesting if gadgettown and tmart are the exact same company, just using different fronts.

I bought that model some time ago. Since I do not own a laser power meter, I can only compare it to other reputable modules. It seems around 50-60mW. It is able to pop a balloon, BARELY light a match but the beam is visible. But these are just my personal results.

If it does that, then I will be really happy. It cost $15. Says price before discount is $60 :0 74% off. Its currently shipping to me. Anyone know if the battery is rechargable or if it comes with a charger.

Just a word of advice, since I'm in the business of setting prices...

Don't EVER look at the list price. (The $60.) Look at the final price, nothing else.
