Are any 5mw (or higher up to 50mw) models consistently over-spec ?

Well, based on positive comments I have read from several members (including Styropyro) I ordered the 50mw green laser from Ledshoppe - 532nm Green Laser Pointer Pen 50mW (LP1076) - and will see about giving a review in the review section after I receive it, both on the shipping time as well as the laser itself.

I am sure hoping to be able to give a very good review so hopefully they send me a really good one !

once you get it, can you do a small review and tell me about it? i'm also thinking of buying it if its good enough.

i think i should have bought this. the 50mw is probably under spec and this 100mw may be also but i think i should have bought this because in the reviews, they say that its around 70-80mw while this 50mw would be only 30-40... what do you think?

I definitely plan on sharing a review of my Ledshoppe 50mw after it arrives and I can check it out a bit, I just ordered it Monday and the online status page says "awaiting shipment" so unless they don't update that page often it hasn't shipped just yet.

The Focalprice 100mw seems like a good deal if you really get a fairly good one, you can put "Focalprice 100mw" in the search box and read comments from various members to see what good and/or bad they have to say from personal experience, both with that model as well as the company itself.

From what I have read it seems the Ledshoppe 50mw has had much positive said about it and not as much negative, I have read from some who said that they are fairly close to spec and sometimes a good bit over, so hopefully I'll get a good one !

(I have heard that Ledshoppe has good customer service and will make things right if someone does get a dud, so customer service is a very important factor to consider also)

Focalprice has a 50mW that uses a 18650 battery in a nice host. It's only $14.79. Even if it's under a little, it's a great price.
