Ok,
this is how it works i have a rayfoss 100 mw focusable laser:) now i noticed that some-days my beam is too week to bee seen from an angle of 90 degrees in my room and some times it is amazingly beautiful and strong , the burn strength is always the same, the batteries are FULL ...so that is not the culprit however, i discovered that on days when the laser is easily seen are the days that ARE NOT CRISPY CLEAR OUTSIDE, on crispy clear days i can see the dot much further but the less of a beam....so my conclusion is that , we have Rayleigh scattering to blame amazing in 24 hrs a beam can turn from being "verry weak" to amazingly beautifully strong :)
:) and the clearer the outdoors, with little wind etc the weaker the beam:) even though you are in doors:)
AMAZING

Rayleigh scattering, the scattering caused by the molecules of gas that make up the atmosphere, is the same regardless of conditions. What your seeing is due to changes in the amount of particulate in the air. Smog, dust, water vapor, etc. Its the same as comparing the beam in an clear air room vs a fogged room. The beam is going to be more visible in the fogged room due to there being more particulate in the air.

lmao what a noob ... sorry

Um, No one was born knowing anything, much less everything. He learned something new to him and got excited about it.. It's no fault to him.

At least this thread is 1000x better than someone posting OMG I POPPED A BALLOON WITH MY 100W $50 405NM GREEN LAZOR!!!!11!!1!.

haha thnx for the noob comment:)

Its just amazing to me that even though im in doors the laser can be so sensitive to the speckling .... i mean literally in 12 hrs:) my laser can change from barely visible to very visible:) outside didn't shock me but in doors...did! :) sorry if i disappointed you , but that in a few hrs visibility can be soooo affected is amazing to me INDOORS wise...
