Ok,
this is how it works i have a rayfoss 100 mw focusable laser now i noticed that some-days my beam is too week to bee seen from an angle of 90 degrees in my room and some times it is amazingly beautiful and strong , the burn strength is always the same, the batteries are FULL ...so that is not the culprit however, i discovered that on days when the laser is easily seen are the days that ARE NOT CRISPY CLEAR OUTSIDE, on crispy clear days i can see the dot much further but the less of a beam....so my conclusion is that , we have Rayleigh scattering to blame amazing in 24 hrs a beam can turn from being "verry weak" to amazingly beautifully strong
and the clearer the outdoors, with little wind etc the weaker the beam even though you are in doors
AMAZING
