Aixiz upgrade questions..

I recently obtained 2 of these.



I asked Chuck, but he will not answer.

If I upped the pump diode, just how much could the optics take before failure.???

In other words can I double the pump diode without damaging the crystals?

Are these the same optics as the higher power units or something that would stress out with twice the IR pushing through it??

I know I would have to build a higher current driver, would probably be a DC driver so I could run this from a deep cycle cell.

If these are the 50mW units, they can be taken to 100mW or so easily, but some have gotten much more.
