You won't need goggles if you dont use it inside imo

It has been proven many times Amazon is not a reliable place for high powered greens. However since you are after a low power laser this should be an excellent starter laser. The laser should output about 5-35mw (some of if not most of it IR). Anyway at these powers glasses are not needed.

However NEVER look into the laser while it is running and avoid any direct exposure to your eyes.

Hope you enjoy the laser.

Also aloe me to clarify that just because a laser is visually brighter does not make it any more dangerous. For example 5mw of green is the same as 5mw of IR. Obviously they are not the same but in rated power terms they are. Just thought you should know!

To the OP- I'm a beginner ( no Laser yet ) and I'm thinking of the exact same things as you for a first no goggles with CAUTION use and have been asking guys on here etc.

Be careful because many of the units on Ebay, for example which have rechargeable LION batteries which say Military or Astronomy use are LISTED under 5 mw BUT are actually more powerful-I got an Email from a seller that said 50 mw and many , I'm guessing which are NOT pen style are about 30 mw.

Again- I'm a beginner but just getting info for a good low power green.
