dealextreme?? too Slow!!!! mybe sourcinggate is better.

That better not be spam.

Buy a 100mW Blu-Ray. Its cheaper, no IR, and burns more things. You can usually find them in out Buy, Sell, Trade, section for around $50-$60. Goggle are cheap too.

So I received my laser a few days ago, and I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I've got to say, it's pretty bright. Beam is fairly visible at night. And I'm sure there's not filter. Is it possible for me to test the "true" (no pun intended) power of my laser? Still a little uneasy about that

An IR filter is an IR filter. You only need a cheapo $0.01 square of glass, and it'd be fine. There's not much IR, and an IR filter will cut out all of the IR and some of the green.

Where can I get a filter, that would work. Does it really cut out ALL of the IR, and how can I be sure? I read somewhere that some filters can only handle a certain percentage of IR.

With the low mWs I would not worry about how much the filter reduces. Pick up a cheap one. If you have an old digital camera, or video camera, they often will have one on top of the CCD chip.
