Hi
I am checking the opportunities for use green (532nm) laser range finders for underwater measurement (only to measure distance not to make 3D models). Have anyone of you experience with this kind of task? I have seen some use of 3D scanners based upon the triangulation principle, but no one based on time to flight/phase shift principle. Do someone know where to purchase 532nm rangefinders from(time to flight, triangulation etc)?

Rangefinders are IR. It doesn't make sense to convert the IR to green since you loose power and gain no performance.
