hello guys i'm planning to buy a laser pen just for fooling around a little bit, but i need your advice for choosing between the 50mv or 100mw. basically i need something bright enough during daylight with visibility within some 500 meters at night. now i know that both are dangerous for the eyes, but i need one which is safe enough not to burn my skin in a few seconds if accidentally exposed. popping balloons would be fun but it's something that i really need. basically my main concerns are visibility and safety
i heard that green is best for visibility.

here is a link of the product i want to buy:
Green Laser Pointer Pen, Hight Quality Laser Pointer Pen w/ Light Beam, 5mW, 10mW, 50mW, 100mW, 200mW, Free Shipping-in Laser Pointers from Office & School Supplies on Aliexpress.com
i don't think it's really a high quality one compared to those listed on this forum, but i'm not looking for quality either.

please any kind of advice would be welcomed

First off, welcome to the forum! You should make a welcome post.

Secondly lasers are not for fooling around or playing with... They are dangerous if you can't use it.

Anything over 5mW can blind instantly so safety goggles are a must.

Most lasers are hard to see in daytime, but you can see them at night if they have power.

If you want a safe laser which you can see at night just get a 5mW laser.

The site you linked probably sell really underspec lasers (Sold at 100mW actually 50mW or something less)

If you want a quality laser you should get something from reputable sellers on this forum.

Read the stickys around the forum, they have awesome info..

Such as read this: http://laserpointerforums.com/f45/guide-buying-your-first-green-laser-30608.html

Also green lasers aren't just green light, they also have a decent amount of IR in the beam so even with safety glasses you have to be really careful. most inexpensive safety glasses don't block IR light. worst part about IR is you cant see it but it will mess your eyes up BAD!!!!
