300mw Green Laser pointer - broken

Hello! I bought this 300mw laser from megalaseruk.com and I have a problem. It was working fine then all of a sudden, it started to flicker, then cut out. I recharged the battery, but it wouldn't work at all. I can see there is a red glow coming out of the laser, but nothing else. I decided to look at it through my iPod touch camera, and found it is now emitting IR light! It comes out in a straight line rather than a dot. I really need to get this fixed. Thanks for reading and please help me.

The damage is done bro.. you might need these if you want to rebuild it yourself..

return it man your crystals are out of alignment and your laser just got more dangerous

Its better to buy i laser from a good company like lazerer.com or o-like.com
Their lasers are over-spec and they both have good prices.

I find it funny that people do zero research before purchasing a laser and then when there laser breaks they decide to do a little looking around. I guess if you aren't really in the hobby it doesn't occur to people that lasers ARE ALL DIFFERENT.

Either way your best bet is to buy a new one from one of these companies
