200mw green laser module help

If I post this in the wrong section I apologize, I'm new to this forum.
I purchased a 50mw green laser module from laserlands on eBay.
I am looking for something way brighter but within my budget as I was not happy with the one I purchased.

I am building a laser light show that is connected to a few mirrors and spinning Mirrors so it isn't just a beam, it covers a whole wall at least.
I need something bright enough to do that with ease.

I wanted to get the brightest laser module I could for $150-$200 range.

Please help, thanks in advance!

I dunno. What your suggesting could become a death star of blindness. I don't know the specifics. but make sure your plan is well thought out. 200 mw is very dangerous.
check out the safety section.

they got this on dx.

lots of complaints about crappy wire soldering though. But then, this hobby seems to be for people who solder.

The show I am building would be far from human eyes , I do appreciate your concern thank you. And I know the dangers of lasers and eyes

That sucks, but yea it's 1w laser haha. I know what I'm doing. Thank you for the concern. You know of a good efficient 200ish mw green? For under $200. That can be on for long periods of time

Did you see the module. Wait... are you saying that you are making a show for non-humans!!! Sasquatch, aliens, or lizard men?

I'm building it for a cemetery. Deceased audience . I'll still make sure they wear goggles I promise

Ah, the spectral realm. Now I see.

This is just a bare module with wiring that will probably require re soldering, but the price is way under your budget. even if is somewhat less powerful than advertised.

from what you are describing you may be able to use multiple modules to increase output. with out heat sinking. otherwise maybe a fan to cool them. you can make a cheap heat sink using arctic silver high density thermal compound painted on thick aluminum foil and wrap many layers around the module to build up mass and surface area. ugly but should work. they sell arctic silver at radioshack.

also, goggles just fall off of ghosts. its a good thing you aren't planning on using lasers on sasquatches because they are very reactionary. aliens are fine cause they wear laser goggles all the time built in like contacts and lizard men have extra eyelids that close sideways or something so their cool too... but all kidding aside. good luck. good hunting. I believe.

Don't buy that DX module, it will be way underpowered and will probably be just as bright as your 50 mW one. I suggest getting DIY 100mW 532nm Green Laser Module as this one will actually be 100mW. Or you can buy a pointer from lazerer that has a legitimate 200mW output, such as this one: LZCR - 532nm 200mW High Power DPSS Green Laser Pointer

Lazerer is a trusted website that will sell modules and lasers at their actual output, unlike DX. DX's reputation is underpowered lasers.

An under powered 200 is still likely to be more than a dead on 50. but, yes I agree with mwang about the lezerer being more accurate and it has no complaints about bad soldering.
You may be able to use 2 100mw modules to increase over all light output across a wider area.
like if a mirror ball has one bright light pointed at it. the ball makes less dots than when two lights are pointed at it from different angles
