So i order a 150mW green laser module off ebay and a pen host. I check the mail today and i got a empty pen host and a fully built laser (in a pen host) that has a sticker say <200mW. Lucky it got through customs or my dad would have been pissed. The is only the 100-150mW mark anyway. But wow i was lucky it got past. I got a red laser pen (didnt have a power sticker but it was only about 5mW) and i got seized but this came in the little box with the cutouts (but there was no batteries in their though) and clearly stated <200mW. Just wanted to let you guys know. I was pretty shocked.

It's strange that your 5mW red got seized and your 150mW green didn't, you're lucky.

So is this the laser that's getting sold to a mate?

It was actually marked <200mW on the laser. Yeah this is the one i am selling to a mate. I wasn't expecting a <200mW pen to turn up when i ordered a <150mW module. I unfortunately don't have a LPM but it looks to be about 150mW. I just realised how little sense my first post made...

Strange... My 200mW Techood module has been "Received and awaiting clearance for delivery" Since the 9th.. So i'm worried it's been seized.

I didn't get my module from techood, i got it from newgazer. I hope he accidently send you a fully built 200mW laser instead of that module because customs would have no reason to seize a laser module.

You hope he sends Billiam a fully built 200mW laser!?! I would hope the opposite :p.

Anyway, let's just all sit here for a while and admire Australian customs :crackup:

why don't you save up for a 2 watt laser :) ???? forget those stupid CRAP !!!!!!!!!!! pointers man

@Gun I hope he just gets the module.

@weeba I got a module and a pen host to make a pointer to sell to my friend but i when i checked the mail i got an empty pen host and a fully built (in a pen host) <200mW laser.

Can you link me where you bought that pen host and module? I haven't got a warning from customs yet so I may buy it, if it got to you without a problem it might also get to me :)
