alright guys,
so after a while of looking, i finally decided on what i was going to buy next. i decided that i would buy a green laser ~200mw. so i've looked at o-like and they have a 150mw for $100, but then i looked at BudgetGadgets and they have the same laser at 200mw for $85.00. so im stuck between a rock and a hard place. i would like to buy from o-like because they are my trusted source in lasers, but i would like to buy from BudgetGadgets because they have a better laser at a cheaper price. so can someone please tell me what they think about BudgetGadgets? how long is their shipping times? can i get the laser safely into the U.S? can i return it if it breaks? thanks

The laser at Budget is not $85, it's well over $100. If you look closely at the price in the dropdown, you will see the 200mW version is +$80.05. The price each starts at $38.03. Do the math my friend...

I have never bought from Budget, but there are reviews of them here on the site.

i orderd 200mw red from them on the 23rd june, never turned up $60 down the drain, they only track the package leaving thier country, but the tracking information they provided doesnt provide the end destination, just "shipped to the uk" , could have been anyones tracking number.

I'd say stay away.

well, from my experience ordering from china, the tracking numbers always do that. they will fully update about 1 day after the package arrives at your home. i dont know why it does that, it just does. :undecided:

@ped, i wouldn't scratch it off as a lose yet, I'm in the US but i know when i buy things from China 2-3 weeks is normal. You're not even to 2 weeks yet. Unless its UPS or FedEx all other tracking things suck, like Hong Kong Airmail.

It's only another $18 for the 200mW so it's worth the extra, that is a tricky site though. Problem you face is a lot of places use the same host but doesn't mean they are the same quality. I personally would stick with O-like since i trust them more, but if you do buy the BudgetGadgets.com one and turns out well, let me know and i'll do the same!! lol

OH! JUNE 23rd, not July, those two months are tricky lol. Yea, sorry to hear that then. There is always potential it got confiscated or delivered to wrong house. That happened to a friend of mine when he ordered helmets, after about a month of waiting he called up the website, they gave he 50% his original order plus sent another one using next day air. The following week he neighbor shows up with a box that he had for a while that he just never brought over. Now he got 2 helmets for 50% the price of one, he ended up giving one to me so it was a sweet deal!

I'm probably to late with this post but I bought the same laser from budget gadgets, it ended up costing $118 and after three days it stopped working. I don't have and LPM to test output but I doubt it was up to spec. First after two days the focusing ring broke and then the next day it stopped turning on. the wrist strap also broke. After pressing the button for about ten minutes it finally turned on at a very low power (barely visible dot). Soon after it ceased to function at all. I returned it and am still waiting for the money to come through, shipping was slightly bellow average. And I was made to pay the return shipping. All in all, not a good laser, low quality and I don't think you should buy it.
