200mW of 532nm easy lite a match, burn holes in dark paper and white paper slowly...but i have that laser from that seller the laser actually puts out 90 mW of power it will when focused lite matches and burn hole in dark paper but that's about it and lightly sting your skin. Its quite bright i did think the power was more until i LPMd it

Do you have any methods for increasing the power output on this laser like increase power input or anything like that?, because this is the second laser I have ever bought, I'm new to this stuff

No there isn't anyway to tweak the power and whatever you do don't be tempted to use two 16340 batteries instead of one 18650 and have twice the voltage you will mostly end up with a dead laser, some lasers you can put in two batteries and get more output but the driver board has to be able to cope with the extra voltage, and if you don't know 100% don't try it ...its very much a sealed unit so any mods just arnt worth the effort. You may get a bit more out with a better lens but as said not worth the effort of buying a better lens and doing it if you can in the first place ,just enjoy it as it is

I answered your question as you where putting in the above post, its a very common laser in the SD301,302,303 series not worth the effort or money to try and modify i have 6 of them just leave it you will end up ruining it

Yeah its a pain but you don't get a lot of laser for 27 dollars, especially when it says 200mw and real output is half or less i have over time managed to get quite a few over 100mW LPM but a lot are only around 70 to 80 mW
