think it will be near spec? its more than the kypton :rolleyes:
it says fixed focus and adjustable focus :eek:

Well, the host design is rather unique, I haven't seen that one before (there was a very similar one but not the same),

And check this,
(10) Power supply:1x 26650 Li batteries

First commercial handheld laser that I've seen which uses something beefier than 18650, and price is quite accordingly high, $1300. They just might have something.

Fingers crossed, waiting for review.

it looks like they have different pictures, the first one has a knurled handle, and the second one doesnt :p

Damn! :D Well, I'll ask Faona next time I see her on MSN, see what is this all about.

Still, if the laser is even near spec (20% tolerance) it could be worth the money.
Hell, 26650 battery alone is already making it better than Wicked's competitor, Krypton. If power output is remotely stable in TEM00 and within 20% of spec, I'd say it's one great laser, albeit expensive one.

if its around TEM00 then yeah! :p rayfoss has been going down hill lately, but for the price it seems doable to make a 1w green laser.

I think rhd mentioned it in another thread...

What if rayfoss got their hands on some of the same modules that wl is putting into their kraptons.

Who knows... maybe there is a whole new module floating around out there.

if i find $1300 i know what im not going to buy ;) haha.
i dont think it'll be 1w.
im sure they didnt produce the module, and CNI would be my first guess, but what are the odds of it, and the krapton having the same module?

lol good work ;)

crazy how that company still exists. but then a couple years ago when i knew nothing i found that site and ordered one...plenty of other people probably still do that...

a tag should be added to laser forums so when you type "wicked lasers" into google this comes up as the second result, saying "do not buy" haha
