Little Grass Hopper 520nm

I bought another host from Ehgemus earlier this week and received it today.
So what did I do?
I added a green laser module from dtr and it makes a pretty nifty laser.
Specs
Diode: Osram plp520b1
Wavelength: 520nm
Amperage to diode: 0.660A
Host: Ehgemus White powered Aluminum
Operating Voltage: 5.5-6

This host is too damn good to sell and it looks great next to my other Ehgemus Laser.

Now that is a good looking laser! I love side buttons!

Which batteries does this laser use (2*16340)?
Could you post some pics of the beam and dot at night? What about splash and/or wings? Divergence?

I use 3.0v rcr123a cells
It has the triangle splash that Osram diodes usually come with. This splash in particular is pretty symmetrical at least :) pics will come soon

I agree this is looking good. Very attractive host and good job with equipping it with a 532. And I'd love to see some beam shots as well.

Hmm that's seems like a pretty low output for the diode @ 660ma. Mine is putting out 200mw w a g lens and ~170mw w 3 element and it's set @ 450ma. Might wanna check the current at the tailcap or test the batteries. That build is so awesome looking, love nice clean builds +1

It's just a inefficient diode, I had one max out at 240mw before I sold it. Remember these are rated for 120mw.

Very nice build, grasshopper! :D You just need to get the last one, and you'll have the "Ehgemus trio".

@Ehgemus, I think every wavelength will go well with those beautiful white hosts of yours. :)
