As you can see if you look at my profile, i am indicated as new. I am not. I used to have an account on here, but didn't use i for awhile, as i had gotten all the info i needed for my project at the time. I made a new one because i forgot the user name and password. What i am saying is-i'm not a noob with lasers, i have hands-on experience, and know the inner working of this and that. So dont be afraid to talk "techy" and such. But on the opposing side, i am not an elite though. ; )

Anyway, what i am asking is if i can get a in-depth sticky or even a personal instruction, on how to build a laser with a output of 150-200mW-either red or green...actually stick with red for now, i already have green lasers. I tried to build one in the past, but failed. I think i have the right homemade driver, but it wouldnt hurt for some re-assurance. I would like instructions on a proper driver, housing/heatsink, powersupply...etc. Thanks in advance

It would be way to hard for you to build a 200mW green. But you said this in your post so why didn't you post this in the red section? It is not so hard to build a 200mW red, at least when compared to a 200mW green.

You would need an axiz module (holds the diode, provides some heatsinking) , a host, batteries, a driver (regulates current to the diode) and a red diode, either LOC or LCC or even a small 3.6mm diode from an 8x blu ray burner. Just look in the red section. And use the search box. You could even get someone to build it for you.
