">1W Green Lab Laser" (output of ALMOST 1600mW for me!)

Price: $740 shipping incl ($818 normally). A GREAT deal even at $800 in my book! (Computer PSU for analog modulation ~20-30$ if you don't have one already)

Beam: Pretty darn good quality.

1ft away: 1/8 inch diameter (3.175mm)
93 inches (7.75 feet) away: 1/4 inch diameter (6.35mm)

According to: pseudonomen137's JScript mRad Calculator that means approximately 1.54 mRad! I took my time measuring those measurements so I'm pretty sure it's a pretty close calculation overall!

Output looks like TEM00. It starts out at maybe TEM01 (or mayyybe TEM11) and shifts within a few seconds usually to TEM00. Some pictures below:

Make your own judgement :P

The host:
The host itself: Dimensions: 5.15in (6in if you include the nose) x 2.75in x littttlle less than 2in
Easy comparisons for size: a little taller than a Laserbee II Deluxe. 2 Rubiks cubes side by side. 2 sticks of deodorant on top of each other. Basically, it's not huge! It's got it's own fan to keep it cool as well.

The DHOM power supply: 8.25in x 4.25in x 3.75in
Has a keylock (on-off), an on-off switch, and three indicator lights for POWER, LASER, and ALARM.

Power:
WOW. You'll see in the video below I had to go outside and find a rock for a beamdump because I realized I was accidentally burning a hole in anything I would point it at (namely, my little brother's science fair poster board from ~8 feet away and my white painted wood dresser). Way brighter than anything I've ever seen before! The beam is more than easily see-able in light + window open. With smoke it looks like a completely solid beam (see video below). Usually with green lasers it's pretty difficult to light a white match (unfocused) but this does basically as quickly as my old 555mW blu-ray when focused!!
Here's a picture of comparison vs my Viasho handheld greenie (which has been known to reach slightly over 700mW!) in a dark room with no smoke:

The Company:
Meierlight..? I'd never heard of them before but they have some GREAT deals (thanks to jeffreythe00 for both revealing this laser to the world and also helping me set up my computer PSU for the analog modulating part of the laser [5V DC]). I was in contact with Fang from Meierlight and he (although having a little trouble with English as is generally usual for these companies) was friendly and very responsive to all my emails.

Shipping:
Offered free shipping. They shipped via DHL and gave me tracking and the laser was here within a week! Very well packaged -- tight so nothing could move around. I was pleased.

BEAMSHOTS (done with a few matches having been lit. No editing has been done to any of the photos they are all the raw images!):

Wow, I know how bright my 445 1.5 watt is. Still getting used to it. But the same power level in 532 GREEN!! I Can only imagine what that must be like in person! Good review as well, thanks for sharing Bryson.
