1.5 W green handheld laser?

its not 150 feet, even if i´d wish so. but the distance is 90 feet at the end of the row of balloons. just watch the other vids of my canal to get a feeling of the burning power of this greenie. 10 matches burned of a distance of 1,5meters away and other stuff...

The spread at 90' is still better than any 532 I have around, and the Q-beam cost $8,000 new.


What glass is being used?

it´s no even a special glass, its the one that came with the module. i have a 3,5-4mm beam at the module and at 90 feet it is around 25-30mm. So with this calculator i get at least <1mrad of divergence.
I thought thats in the good and "normal" range.
