Very cool. They should make a nice avatar. I'm still waiting on parts to build my first laser LOL. I started in December and I will finally have all the pieces I want in 2 weeks. Tell me I don't have patience LOL. I guess I could of thrown a quick one together but I don't half ass things. I'll post some pix when its done too.

I was in the same situation as you. Took me a month between the original kipkay video and my final blu-ray. Cost : 45$
Patience got me a success. Be carefull, don't go quicker that you have to.

I signed into the forum in December 08 after a month of lurking. Actually I saw the video "What Kip didn't tell you" that led me here.

Total cost of my laser right now is around $170 US and still going LOL. I also have a 120mW PHR module, but that is for another project. The cost of that project is up to around $120 US. Believe it or not I have had all the parts to throw a 120mW PHR-MDXL laser together for about 2 months. But like I said I don't fudge things. I'm real anal about my projects LOL. Do it right, or don't do it at all. Ive had that PHR modiule for months and the only time on it is a few seconds to check if it worked.
