I have $42. Where can I find a violet laser that can burn and the beam is visible during daylight? Is this possible?

Errrr.....no. Even 532nm lasers which is much, much closer to the peak wavelength of human visible have trouble getting a visible beam in daylight unless they are 1W+ of output power.

405 is way on the edge of what we see, good luck getting a visible beam in daylight from that :p

With a 405nm violet it is difficult enough to get a visible beam in the dark. Save up $125 - $200 and you can get one that will burn really good and be visible to most people in dim lighting. The one I have is 590mW and visible in dim lighting and will burn anything. It cost me $150 for the parts, if I would have had someone build it for me it may have cost $200, but you can find something similar for less, or you could look for a used one and maybe find one for under $100. If you don't have them yet you will also need safety glasses, battery charger, and whatever batteries the laser takes, that's about another $50.

You would want for violet 405 atleast 4-500mW for it to be somewhat visible i imagine, i have a 100 only and its barely if not invisible during day.. only when its darker i can somewhat see it if i focus on the beam.

hahahahaha lol never. When 100-1000W+ lasers become available for less than $50 I am building a concrete bunker with a 99.99% broadband HR coating on the outside and never coming out EVER.
