I thought it'd be a good idea to have a thread showing what the shipping times were for all over the world.

To Australia:
From:

Within Aus: 1-2 days standard, Next day express
US: ~2 weeks standard post, <1 week express.
China: ~2-3 weeks standard, < 10 days express.

To Canada:
From:

China: 2-3 weeks standard
Europe: 1 week standard
US: 2-3 weeks standard

To Europe:
From:
Australia: 8 - 9 days
China: 4 - 6 days EMS
South America: ~2 weeks
US: 1 - 2 weeks Priority International.

To US:
From:
China: ~2 weeks standard, 3 - 4 days EMS

If everyone else can inform me of times to Europe and US etc. I'll update this post and try to make a complete list for all over the world.

Here's two I've had pretty consistant results with:

To US from China: EMS Express: 3 to 4 days.
To EUR from US: Priority International: 6days to 14days.

By the way, do let me know when the package I sent you arrives, USPS hasn't updated their tracking in more than a week for me.

To Sweden from China regular post: 5-7 days
To Sweden from China EMS: 4-6 days
To Sweden from US: 9-10 days (but my fastest was 4)
To Sweden from Aus: 8-9 days
To Sweden from South America: 15-16 days

Thats all I know.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping to make an extensive enough list to have it stickied for all to get an idea of how long to expect to wait.

Sigurthr - I've been keeping an eye on USPS and Aus Post but neither are showing anything new. I'm expecting them to turn up on my birthday which would make it exactly 2 weeks from when you posted them. I'm not sure if they'll be an issue at customs though?

It should get through customs with no issue. I labeled it as "repaired lab optics".

But there are a lot of factors. You never know for example when the chinese are going to take a month long holiday to celebrate a dragon or something. (which happened to me once...)

My personal experience:

(To Canada via regular post)
China: 2-3 weeks
US: 2-3 weeks
Europe: 1 week

China is somehow usually faster than the US for me

I'm also trying to email a friend who lives in China so he can give me a full list of the Chinese holidays so I can put it in here too

I too have found that it's faster from China than from the US. Maybe it's just their postal service?

Very strange how the country next to you takes 2-3 weeks while the countries on the other side of the pond takes 1 week.

Yeah, I think it has something to do with customs. Or maybe I've just had good look ordering from the UK. I've only ordered 3 times, so there is a possibility I just had good luck all 3 times, and they came super fast :p

Well I can attest to the delay accuracy for items coming into
Canada.. Unless they come from DX then add 2-3 months...

Hi, great post!

These timelines, are they based on personal experience?

Please post back... I'd like to add the information to this thread:

They are based on my personal esperience.
I've buyed some big items and weight items like some books and long items like fishing rod.
and very small and tiny items like TCG cards or dice.
