Got an e-mail this AM from WL saying they now offer 2 Arctics and 4 Kryptons

See new Arctic info at: Spyder 3 Arctic Blue Laser Pointer | Wicked Lasers

Looks like they are now doing what they should have been doing all along --guaranteeing promised minimum power level of 1000 mw on S3 Arctic. On the new one minimum power is 1250mw with LPM certification

The new Krypton is 100mw.

Looks like they have listened to the complaints about output power misrepresentation albeit a little bit to late.

Prices are still high ...

I got the mail too which is very strange. I never sign on WL forum or shop at any time nor did I purchase anything from them.
It must be the time in the previous WL forum when it called a different forum. I forgot the previous name. They kept your mail address for so long time.

Nobody can accuse them of not being good at marketing regardless of product claims.

They are clever self-promoting marketeers with a slick web site.

I've marked, and emailed to be taken off those scammer's email list, still got that same email though.

Just for the heck of it, forwarded the email on...

spam@uce.gov

I recommend everyone else do the same. If it hurts WL in some small way, all the better :eg:

No, it is a review unit, however it is done in such a way that the WL staff are completely unaware which is a review unit as I made a purchase anonymously ;)

I'm still upset about the whole light sabre add on... They are promoting these high power lasers as mere toys :(

Great---will be on the lookout for it>

WL's new Arctics better be a stated min. 1000mw+ and min. 1250mw+ guaranteed output or they have learned nothing.

Which one do you have coming the 1000mw or 1250mw? Either one will be interesting.

Well, they said the "new" arctic so I'm assuming the "1250mW+" one. I have done a review on the "1W" arctic in the past (Before this whole power guarantee thing, right when they were first released)

Cool!

Maybe the product now lives up to the claims.

Would guess it does as they are offering a 30 day money back guarantee.

Looking forward to your findings.
