Some cameras can show Ir as a pinkish purple. This is why I made the judgement. In this circumstance I thought it would be better to be safe than sorry.

Sup MassiE46M3,

Seen you had this issue a while back and didn't have the time to respond.

I have an Evo and only had that issue "once" Turned out to be bad batteries. If you are using fresh batteries, this is not your issue.

Aside from the batteries, the only other thing I can think that may be causing issues is either a busted pump diode or busted crystal. Theres also a possibility that your firmware is messed up (since these lasers ARE programable and a bad flash can cause issues.) I assume you don't have a dev kit, so I imagine this is also not the case, however its worth mentioning.

I'd recommend contacting WL about the issue and seeing if you can get a replacement.

Lastly, you can try "momentary mode". To do this hold the button on the side down while simultaneously clicking the tailcap, you'll still have to put your passcode in. 3 short 2 long 3 short, iirc.

Good luck man. I hope you can get it working!
